Now is the time to support the Danes

The fury of the Muslim world's response to these cartoons shows that the cartoons themselves weren't entirely off-base. They depicted Muslims as intolerant and violent, and Muslims responded with intolerance and violence.

Immediately suspend all payments to the United Nations until it stops funding Hamas and/or the PA

After all, Israel is a U.N. member. How can the United Nations subsidize an entity that is dedicated to the destruction of one of its members?

Do you think Hillary is a Communist ?

Barbara Olson, author of Hell to Pay. The Unfolding Story of Hillary Rodham Clinton , was a prominent Washington attorney who served as a congressional investigator and as a general counsel in the United States Senate. In an interview in 2000 she discussed Hillary. You might remember that Ms. Olsen was killed on 9-11 as she was a passenger in the aircraft that crashed into the Pentagon.

When asked: Do you believe that Hillary Rodham Clinton is a Marxist ?

She replied: I believe she has a political ideology that has its roots in Marxism. In her formative years, Marxism was a very important part of her ideology...But when you look at her ideas on health and education, you see more government and less individual control. You see very little regard for families.

Personally, I still think she is a closet communist that neurotically sees herself as Tsaress.

From what I understand, her graduate school thesis deals with her Marxist views - And I further understand that this treatise is sealed and not subject to public scrutiny.

"I think the United States should have offered the opportunity to provide the nuclear fuel. Test them. See whether or not they were actually looking for it for peaceful purposes. If they weren't willing to work a deal, then we could have put sanctions together." John Kerry

During his first debate against President Bush on Sept. 30, 2004, the Massachusetts Democrat actually said it would be a good idea for the U.S. to give Iran the fuel they needed to make a nuclear bomb.

A voice of Reason from the Wilderness

I have long since begun to find such divisive (Belafonte) and hatemongering (Farrakhan) mouthpieces of color odious; now the attention they generate simply makes me want to retch.

On the one hand, I believe all Americans need to know what kind of sabotage and treachery is being committed on the part of other Americans, yet on the other hand, the less attention men like Belafonte and Farrakhan receive, the better, since they and their cohorts relish same because it serves their purposes.

Failed march, hatred cements Farrakhan victory

“That BET curses the Confederate Flag as a symbol of racism, but elevates the hate monger Farrakhan is a graphic case of moral duplicity.”

“BET and groups like the Congressional Black Caucus, the NAACP and the Urban League ultimately serve only to further marginalize themselves and exacerbate black people by practicing racial politics.”

“Hatred only works for so long – ultimately, people of conscience will rebel against it. It happened with slavery, it happened with Jim Crow and it will happen with these people. It matters little the race or color of the tyrannists – sooner or later people tire of tyranny.”

Are we just going to stand by ?

The resumption of enrichment activities, which could give Iran the special nuclear material needed to make nuclear weapons, has long been sited by Israel as the “red line” they would not allow Iran to cross.

Iran now appears ready and willing to cross that red line. And with Mr. Sharon sidelined from Israeli politics, Israeli military leaders are unlikely to bet on a prayer and a chance that Iran just might be bluffing. After all, as Iran’s Larijani himself said, Israel is “within our range.”

Is Alito Good for Jews ?

"Yes" says a (Jewish) lawyer who worked for him

WASHINGTON, Jan. 2 (JTA) — It’s axiomatic that Jews tend to view all news through the lens of “but is it good for the Jews?” It’s therefore no surprise that this filter now is being brought to bear on my former boss and mentor, Judge Samuel Alito Jr., who has been nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court

Based on my experience working closely with Judge Alito, I can answer unequivocally that yes, Judge Alito will be good for the Jews — and, by extension, for all Americans.

So says Jeffrey Wasserstein - a law clerk for Judge Alito from 1997-98 - and an article for JTA.

This story will come back and haunt the two faced liberals

A Case In Favor of a Guest Worker Program

First, I should state upfront that I am a proponent of strong enforcement for our borders including deploying the military to prevent Illegal’s from entering the Country along with vigorous profiling at our airports and other points of entry.

That said, I think that a well administered “Guest Worker Program” is a win-win situation for everyone. I say that because I lived and worked in Japan for 8 years and have some hands on experience as to how their system works.

My initial entry into Japan in the early spring of 1991 was legal. This is important. I was required to get a visa and have a sponsor to stay more than 3 months and work prior to arriving.

Within a short period of time after arrival, I had to go to the Municipal Office and be fingerprinted and photographed for an ID that I was required to carry at all times. I also had to inform the Locals of where I was living and again with whom I was working for. For sure, the police did come and check that I was actually living where I said I was.

This procedure of informing the Locals where I was living and who was sponsoring me was an annual event. When I left the Country to visit the States, I had to go to the immigration office and get a return visa so I could re-enter the Country. An up to date ID was a necessary component to the trip to immigration.

All the time I was in Japan, I was never randomly asked to show my ID except when I ran a stop sign – then, the police were extremely interested in see that little piece of information.

As a guest worker, I had to pay taxes, file tax returns, and was allowed to participate in their national health program. Of course I could not vote.

Except for an onslaught of illegal’s already here, we certainly could and should implement something similar to Japan’s system. Now there is no practical way to round up and deport 11 million illegal aliens. So pragmatically we have to accept the fact that they are here and require participation in the Program or be incarcerated.

Are these people pathetic - or what

THE NEW DEM SPIN ON IRAQ [John Podhoretz]
Since Murthamania went the way of the Bay City Rollers, elected Democrats need a new line on Iraq. And they've found one. They're against our staying in Iraq indefinitely, and let me tell you, they don't care who knows it. They're standing tall against all those who say America should stay in Iraq forever. Richard Durbin just said as much on CNN's "Late Edition," while in early December, Hillary Rodham Clinton put it this way: "I disagree with those who believe we should pull out, and I disagree with those who believe we should stay without end."

This may be the lamest Dem spin yet -- since there's no one I know who believes "we should stay without end" and since the administration is all but chomping at the bit to reduce troop levels.

Come on, guys, you gotta be able to do better than this! Give us something to work with here! With political argument this pedestrian, Democrats on foreign policy are starting to look like the Washington Generals playing the Harlem Globetrotters.

And Farrakhan gets the honor for having the "most positive impact on the Black community?"

BET online users, to borrow Lt. Gen. Honore's signature phrase, are hopelessly stuck on stupid.

ACLU sides with the enemy...again

In a recent article, Jim Kouri writes “The Transportation Security Administration is finally taking some positive steps to professionalize airport security. The initial step was designating security screens as security officers, which will require additional training and supervision, as well as additional responsibilities.

“Part of the professionalization process is the training of airport security staff in what's been called psychological profiling or behavioral analysis or a number of other terms that all amount to the same thing — avoiding allegations of racial profiling while at the same time effectively screening out potential terrorists.”

“Most clear-thinking Americans should welcome this new program: It is not random; it doesn't entail profiling based on skin color or ethnicity; and it's unobtrusive. Unfortunately, there are some in the United States that take a different view of homeland security. One group is already making noises and have begun to look into taking legal action against the TSA and airports who have security officers using behavior detection. That group is — surprise? — the American Civil Liberties Union.”

It’s not that the ACLU is siding with the enemy – The ACLU is the enemy.
